I and Satvik used to stroll in this park for long hours in the evening, hand in hand, cracking jokes, pulling each other’s leg and rest down on this bench before head back to home. He lay down on my lap and talk about our future. He always had better plan to bring up our two little kids before his retirement. I was very proud of him being a very good father along with the best half of mine.
Grannyyyyyy… Little kid pulled Sakshi’s dupatta in one hand and pointed another hand to the ground and jumped saying… “Look at this small insect on the road, so colourful, what we call this?”
Sakshi took a minute to come out from her memory looking that bench where she and her husband used to share their feeling. She sighed and felt “time just flies” and answered her granddaughter “It’s a ladybug. Come on, it’s late evening, let’s go home. your parents are waiting for us“.
