As a family time, we four set out for an evening short stroll in our layout once in a fortnight to feel better and relaxed from new-normal-always-WFH. Life has changed drastically from 2020 and it is continuing still!! These brief strolls nearby are blissful for now. Watching the same trees with a different perspective and in different seasons are a pleasure.
This time, the stroll had a special plan to walk through my BP with the practical knowledge on his first chapter in science – “Plants around us”. BP was eager to show me the climbers, creepers, various big trees, bushes and small plants to exhibit his gained knowledge from an online class. It’s excellent to learn from nature and have the basics strong.
There are a couple of Gulmohar trees in our layout and most of them are too tall to capture their beauty in one shot and one frame. Here is one among them which I could cover most of it but still not satisfied that the picture of red beauty didn’t turn out to be the same as I could see from my eyes.

Sometimes it is so difficult to capture, with a camera, what you see with your eyes. It doesn’t matter here, because I love the flowers of this tree so much. It’s a tree that can’t grow where I live (not hardy enough) so I always enjoy seeing an online picture of it in bloom. ramblinwitham

Tree looks amazing, especially with the sun shining on it.

Yes, cameras especially cell phone ones are unable to capture a full grown tree.. but you have done a great job! The beautiful colours have been captured. I am so glad BP could see and experience different plants that he had learnt about in the online class.

This is so pretty, Shilpa. I love Gulmohar trees. The green and red look lovely when the flowers bloom. So glad you shared this one. I hope to see you around on the 26th!
